Our tour connects two major symbols of Georgia’s history: 🕊️ the spiritual city of Mtskheta and the ancient rock‑cut city of Uplistsikhe. This journey reveals the country’s religion, architecture, nature, and the evolution of early civilizations.

📍 Jvari Monastery We begin at Jvari Monastery - one of Georgia’s most iconic landmarks. Standing atop a mountain, it offers a legendary panorama of the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers. Jvari is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and according to legend, the first wooden cross-shaped shrine was erected here. This place introduces you to the spiritual foundations of Georgia.

📍 Stalin’s House-Museum, Gori Next, we head to Gori. You’ll see the house where Stalin was born, exhibitions of his personal belongings, documents, photographs, and the famous armored car he used for conferences. The museum provides insight into the Soviet era and Stalin’s impact on 20th‑century history.

📍 Uplistsikhe - the rock‑cut city The final stop is Uplistsikhe - a unique archaeological complex dating back to the 1st millennium BC. We’ll explore royal halls, ancient wine cellars, a theatre, and secret tunnels, discovering what life was like in pre‑Christian Georgia. Uplistsikhe reveals the country’s pagan past and shows how civilization developed long before Tbilisi rose to prominence.
